The month of December is filling up quickly with lots of parties and get togethers. Here is what is planned so far:
Pendleton Family Party - Still deciding on the date (Dec 10, 11, or 17). It will be a pot luck dinner or Saturday morning brunch. To be held at Shantelle's house.
Brewer Family Party - This year grandma is holding her party on Sunday, Dec. 18. It will begin at 5:30 with the traditional talent show. I convinced her to reserve her chapel next year (already booked this year) since there are a lot of new babies this year. Try to bring stuff for the kids to do. Space will be limited. I've explained to grandma that with 5 one yr olds, it's not going to be very quiet :)
Our Family Party - Ryon and Jana aren't 100% sure when they are coming down. They might come down a few days before Christmas. As of right now we are planning on having a Sunday evening Christmas dinner and presents on the 25th. Food assignments will be given out later. We are also wanting to get together on Monday the 26th in the morning/afternoon. Most likely at mom and dad's church again. We'll be able to play b-ball, volleyball, etc. while the kids have nursery toys to play with. So keep Monday from 10-3(ish) open. Other than that, there are a lot of other ideas that could be fun...seeing the lights on Temple Square, a girls night out, dinner with just adults, and any others anyone has. Feel free to add any more ideas. As for gifts, we are going to change it up this year and each draw a family. That way you are free to get each person in the family a gift or give a family gift. This should help alleviate stress because it is giving you more options of how to do it. So feel free to do it however you would like. The price should total @ $40. Here is the list of who gives whom:
Ryon and Jana - Fishers
Justin and Ali - Ryon and Jana
Josh and Shantelle - Carrolls
Sean and Rachelle - Justin and Ali
Nate and Celeste - Ericsons
Other than that, we are all excited for the holidays!!! I've talked to most everyone already...let me know if I have forgotten anything. Check back on this blog for updates. Feel free to leave comments with any other ideas/suggestions for Christmas.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
